American Hotel Register Company Announces Appointment of Angela Korompilas to President
Vernon Hills, IL – April 16, 2014 – The Board of Directors of American Hotel Register Company, the nation’s leader in hospitality supply, has unanimously selected Angela Korompilas as President of the company. The appointment is effective immediately. For the past two years, Ms. Korompilas has served as the company’s Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, and more recently, was appointed Acting President, in addition to her operational responsibilities.
“We are thrilled that Angela has been chosen by our board as President of American Hotel. Her long and distinguished career with our company, as well as her excellent management of some of its most challenging areas, have uniquely positioned her for this appointment,” said Chairman Jim Leahy, in making the announcement. “She is a person of high integrity and is completely committed to the success of our customers.”

Ms. Korompilas joined American Hotel in 1996 and assumed increasingly significant sales leadership roles until she was entrusted to lead the company’s global marketing and strategic planning efforts in 2011. In 2012, she was promoted to Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer.

A Chicago native, Ms. Korompilas is a graduate of the University of Illinois and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management Executive Education program. She is also a member of the American Hotel & Lodging Association and the Kellogg Executive Women’s Network.
